De familie Zonneveld is een Tritonfamilie pur sang. Vader Niek maakte bijna veertig jaar geleden als bestuurslid de laatste overwinning van Triton op de Varsity mee. Dochter Willemijn en zoon Vincent zaten midden jaren negentig in het bestuur. Jongste zoon Berend Jan was ook lid, maar heeft "een minder actief donkerblauw verleden". Utrechtse roeiliefde in een Brabants huisartsengezin.
